Raglan Sleeve Vest

Place rubber stitch stopper on the end of two size 6 double - pointed needles.

Cast on 24 stitches.

Work 2 rows of K1, P1 ribbing.

Row 3: Knit

Row 4 (Increase Row): Knit 3, K1-inc 1 in 1st stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next st. K2, K1-inc 1 in next stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next stitch. K6, K1-inc 1 in next stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next stitch. K2, K1-inc 1 in next stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next stitch. K3.

Row 5: Purl across

Row 6: Knit the row with the exception of the following: In stitch before and after each marker, K1, inc-1 in stitch.

Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have 56 stitches ending with one more of row of knit only.

Sleeve dividing: Knit to the first marker. Remove the marker and place next 12 stitches on stitch holder(safety pin). Remove the marker and knit to the next marker and remove it. Place next 12 stitches on stitch holder(next safety pin). Remove last marker and knit to end of needle.

Body:

Rows 1 - 8: Knit, connecting the armpits on the first row, and knitting across each row for a total of 8 rows.

Rows 9 - 12: Work in K1, P1, ribbing for these 4 rows binding off on the last row.

Sleeves: Place stitches for sleeve on a knitting needle with rubber tip on end(place tip on left end of needle with right side of work facing you. Attach yarn to 1st stitch before the work on the needle.

Row 1: K across.

Row 2: P across.

Repeat rows 1 and 2, three more times.

Rows 9 - 12: Work in K1, P1 ribbing, binging off on last row.

Turn piece inside out. Sew sleeve seams and weave in threads. Turn piece right side out and place on toy.

Mittens

Make 2

Cast on 12 stitches.

Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 2 rows.

Row 3: K across.

Row 4: P across.

Rows 4 - 8: Repeat rows 3 and 4.

Leaving work on the needle cut yarn six inches from needle and draw it through the stitches on the needle using a crochet hook.

Draw stitches tight and fasten off. Sew side seam using tail of thread and weave in end.

Turn right side out.

Scarf

Cast on 60 stitches

Row 1: K1, P1 to end of row, turn.

Row 2: P1, K1 to end of row, turn.

Repeat rows 1 and 2, two more times binding off on last row.

Make fringe and attach on short ends of scarf.

Beanie Hat

Cast on 34 stitches.

Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 15 rows. DO NOT BIND OFF ON LAST ROW.

Leaving work on the needle cut yarn six inches from needle and draw it through the stitches on the needle using a crochet hook.

Draw stitches tight and fasten off. Sew side seam using tail of thread and weave in end.

Turn right side out and glue or sew on pom-pom to top.
