Materials:
Plastic ring(white)
Worsted weight yarn - 1 oz. contrasting color(CC)
2 oz. main color(MC)
G crochet hook
With CC work 26 sc over ring. Change to MC.
Bodice
Row 1: Dc in front loop of first 14 sc, turn and dc in back loop of the same 14 sc, join with sl st in 1st dc. Change to CC.
Row 2: Ch 4, dc in first st. sk next st, *1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next st, skip next st. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in 1st dc. Change to MC.
Rows 3 & 4: Ch 3, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in 1st ch 1 space. 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in each ch 1 sp all around. Join with sl st in 1st dc. Change to CC at end of 4th row.
Row 5: Ch 3, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in 1st ch 1 space. 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in each remaining ch 1 sp. Change to MC.
Skirt
First Row: Attach MC ic space shown above and ch 3. 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in middle of shell, 1 dc in space between shells around. Join with a sl st in top of ch 3.
Next Row: Sl st into space between last ch 3 and next shell. Ch 3 and do a *shell in the next shell - dc in space between shell and next dc, then dc in space between dc and next shell. Repeat this row until 6 dc are between shells. Change to CC.
Last Row: Ch 1, 1 sc in each st around. Fasten off.
