Bath Robe and Slippers

Place rubber stitch stopper on the end of two size 6 double-pointed needles.

Cast on 28 stitches.

Row 1-3: Knit only.

Row 4 (Increase Row): Knit 5, K1-inc 1 in 1st stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next st. K2, K1-inc 1 in next stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next stitch. K6, K1-inc 1 in next stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next stitch. K2, K1-inc 1 in next stitch, place marker, K1-inc 1 in next stitch. K5.

Row 5: Knit 1st 2 stitches, purl across to within last 2 stitches and knit both.

Row 6: Knit the row with the exception of the following: in stitch before and after each marker, K1, inc-1 in stitch.

Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have 60 stitches ending with one more of row of knit only.

Sleeve dividing: Knit to the first marker. Remove the marker and place next 12 stitches on stitch holder(safety pin). Remove the marker and knit to the next marker and remove it. Place next 12 stitches on stitch holder(next safety pin). Remove last marker and knit to end of needle.

Body:

Rows 1 - 24: Knit, connecting the armpits on the first row, and knitting across each row for a total of 8 rows.

Rows 25 - 28: Knit all rows, binding off on the last row.

Sleeves: Place stitches for sleeve on a knitting needle with rubber tip on end(place tip on left end of needle with right side of work facing you. Attach yarn to 1st stitch before the work on the needle.

Row 1: K across.

Row 2: P across.

Repeat rows 1 and 2, three more times.

Rows 9 - 12: Knit all rows, binging off on last row.

Turn piece inside out. Sew sleeve seams and weave in threads. Turn piece right side out and place on toy.

Make tie using same yarn as used above and pattern for karate belt.

Slippers

Make 2.

Cast on 11 stitches

Row 1: K3, P1, K3, P1, K3. Turn

Row 2: K across, turn.

Rows 3 - 8: Repeat rows 1 and 2.

Row 9: P across.

Row 10: K across.

Rows 11 and 12: Repeat rows 9 and 10 one more time.

Row 13: P across without binding off.

Leaving work on the needle cut yarn six inches from needle and draw it through the stitches on the needle using a crochet hook.

Draw stitches tight and fasten off. Sew top seam to where the pattern changed texture using tail of thread and weave in end. Using other tail, sew up back seam to top.

Turn right side out.

Sew or glue a pom-pom on the instep of each slipper.
